* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* 2 years of experience troubleshooting, servicing, and installing Fire Alarm systems
* NICET Fire Alarm Certification

*Responsibilities*
* Responsible for installing, programming, testing, inspecting, and final acceptance by customers and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) of complex fire alarm systems
* Install and mount fire alarm system components, including control panels, detectors, notification devices, and wiring, following manufacturer guidelines, NFPA & NEC code requirements and design plans.
* Ability to learn on-site Project Management, troubleshooting, programming, testing, and installation of systems
* Keep accurate records of materials used, time spent, and work completed during installations
* Test newly installed fire alarm systems & conduct final inspections with AHJ/Fire Department to verify their functionality and adherence to safety standards
* Repair and/or restore all systems per specifications and in conjunction with any applicable building fire alarm and/or electrical codes
* Conduct service calls and perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on low-voltage systems
* Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of installation plans
* Leads Start of Shift meetings to communicate priorities & general team communications
* Provides on-shift technical/process subject matter expertise
* Assist in training apprentices on RFI procedures, systems, and installation/service techniques
* Provide exceptional customer service and develop strong relationships with customers.
