I was given this test by a clinical psychologist in 1978.
Except for the outside of the case it is mint condition and has never been used.
It still has the tissue paper wrapped around the testing materials.
The Bayley Scales is in practice for several decades as a useful tool for detecting early developmental delay in clinical and research settings.
In 1969, Nancy Bayley published the first BSID.
The first BSID assessed motor and mental domains in the age group from 3 to 28 months.
The Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development (version 4 was released September 2019) is a standard series of measurements originally developed by psychologist Nancy Bayley used primarily to assess the development of infants and toddlers, ages 1–42 months.
