This 2003 Dodge Sprinter (2002 model year) commercial vehicle is perfect for someone looking to get into the food truck business.
It had been California certified prior to the last change of ownership in 2018.
The interior has been removed for renovation and is ready for your custom build-out.
Sprinter and food truck equipment pieces are included in the sale.
The power plant is a Turbo 2003 Mercedes-Benz OM612 LA diesel engine.
It is a low emission vehicle engine that meets all the applicable requirements of 40 CFR 88.
It has a rated output of 154 HP and a displacement of 3.
0 liters.
The odometer reads 114,604 with no known issues.
The engine was last serviced prior to storage a couple years ago.
A new Costco battery was installed in October 2023.
The battery is kept disconnected while in storage, and it starts immediately and runs without issues.
There are no SMOG sensors that need to be reset (by driving) before SMOG testing, so after reconnecting the battery you do not need to wait to PASS SMOG again.
Even though it has been stored, the vehicle registration, insurance, and SMOG reports have all been kept up along with routine drives and upkeep.
The truck also has a Cummins Onan QD 8000 (model # 8HDKAU41934M) commercial mobile diesel inverter generator, known for its reliability and durability, with 5264.
5 hours on the meter.
Maintenance has been recorded on the unit.
It is rated at 8 kW and has a 120-volt output.
The generator also starts immediately and runs without issues.
This unit has also been upgraded with fire suppression, propane, a high top required for food trucks, two fold-up serving windows, fresh and grey water tanks, new on demand hot water heater.

Please note:
The sheet metal at the door sills (D/P front, rear, side door) have been rusted through.
This was due to water collecting from a leak in the roof vent prior to the last ownership change in 2018.
Remediation was undertaken to save the floor pan throughout, but the areas around the doors need new sheet metal.
The undercarriage and frame are in good shape, no accidents under our ownership, and none that we know of have occurred.
There are many little dings as you would expect a food truck to have, but nothing major.
