Elementary STEM/STEAM Instructor

*After-School STEM/STEAM Instructor for TK to 5th Grade* *Job Description:* We are seeking a skilled and passionate Contract After-School STEAM Instructor to join our team.
As an instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in TK-5 through engaging and interactive lessons.
This is a contractor position requiring reliable transportation to teach at different locations, with a commitment of 2-6 hours per week.

\**_ *Responsibilities:* * Commitment of 2-4 hours per week * Conduct dynamic and hands-on STEAM lessons for students in grades K-8.
* Digital Citizenship * Teach a variety of subjects, including but not limited to: * Introduction to block coding * Typing and digital literacy * Computer literacy * Keyboarding * LEGO robotics * Scratch and Scratch Jr.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
* Adapt lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of students during instructional sessions.
* Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the STEAM curriculum.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to promote growth.
*Qualifications:* * Experience teaching or instructing in a formal or informal educational setting.
* Strong knowledge and expertise in the subjects mentioned above.
* Passion for STEAM education and inspiring young minds.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Reliable transportation to travel between different locations for teaching assignments.
