com/ I have an immediate need for an in-person 8th grade homework, math, & English tutor to meet at the Edenvale Branch Library at 101 Branham Lane E in San Jose.
Mom is asking for one tutor for both students.
The students are sisters in 8th grade.
They both need overall support in homework and math.
The first sister is at grade level in math and she wants to keep it that way.
Her goals are to work with a tutor on homework and test prep for Algebra 1.
She seeks to build critical thinking skills to better document answers and perform at grade level.
The second sister needs catching up on her math fundamentals and is at about 6th grade level.
She may also need some support in English and History but it will be basic material.
Her goals are to work with a tutor on homework and test prep for elementary ed fundamentals of math review and Algebra.
She seeks to build critical thinking skills to better document answers and perform at grade level.
Mom wants 2 hour sessions once a week on Saturday between 12pm-4pm.
*Job Requirements* * Tutor must be willing to work in-person, face to face at the Edenvale Branch Library at 101 Branham Lane E in San Jose.
* Tutor must be available for 2 hour sessions once a week on Saturday between 12pm-4pm.
* Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles) * Due to insurance requirements applicants must not be a minor.
