We are currently seeking an individual to fill a role for a Middle School Math Long-Term Sub.
This position will be from January 22, 2024 - February 15, 2024.
The position can be full time (8
AM - 3:30 PM) or part time (10 AM - 3 PM).

Personal testimony and commitment to Christian faith
Commitment to the SJCS Statement of Faith, SJCS mission, and SJCS core values
Commitment to faith integration (SJCS Throughlines) in all lessons and roles
Classroom teaching experience (including student teaching)
Job Description Summary:
Model an exemplary Christian walk in speech and action.
Treat each child as uniquely gifted by God.
Implement Big Ideas Math and online math curricula as pre-planned by the current
math teacher.
Execute the pre-planned formative and summative assessments according to answer
keys provided by the current math teacher
Record homework and assessment scores in FACTS as directed by the current math
teacher.

Employ effective classroom management strategies and techniques.
Discipline all students fairly and firmly.
Communicate with parents as directed by the current classroom teacher.
Encourage all students.
Sub Rate: $175/day for full-time; prorated for part-time
