Job Description: Part-time Children's Art Instructor
Our studio is seeking a creative and passionate part-time Children's Art Instructor to join our team.
As an Art Instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and nurture the artistic talents of children aged 4 to 15 years old.
If you have a solid foundation in various art techniques, enjoy working with children, and possess excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role.
Working hours are flexible (there are classes 6-8:30PM M-F, 9AM-6PM SA) Proficiency in Chinese (listening and speaking) is a bonus as some students are bilingual.
What we expect from you: 1.
Artistic Expertise: Demonstrate a decent proficiency in various artistic techniques, including but not limited to pencil drawing, acrylic painting , character sketching, creative drawing, and watercolor painting.
Your expertise in these areas will serve as a foundation for inspiring young minds and encouraging their artistic growth.
2.
Teaching Experience: Previous experience in teaching art to children between the ages of 4 and 15 years old is highly desirable.
3.
Engaging with Children: Interact with children in a positive and encouraging manner, creating a supportive and enjoyable learning environment.
Your ability to connect with young learners will play a crucial role in helping them explore and develop their artistic potential.
4.
Organized and Clear Thinking: Maintain a well-structured and organized approach to art instruction.
Your clear and logical teaching style will help students grasp concepts effectively and build upon their skills progressively.
5.
Location and Language: The ideal candidate should feel comfortable commuting to 95124 where our studio is located.
Fluency in both Chinese and English is preferred, candidates who can understand and speak basic Chinese will be considered favorably.
