*Purdance Hip Hop Instructor Hiring Description*
Purdance Studio is currently looking for a Hip Hop instructor who has been trained in Hip Hop and have experience in teaching Hip Hop dance.
Individuals must be highly motivated and prepared to teach class with a clear plan and curriculum and must have experience in teaching.
They must be a team player, and be able to teach both children and adult program classes.
They must be able to train and provide progressive development to our studetns to make them well rounded dancers.
*Requirements*:
* 3-5 years of formal dance training
* 1 year of dance studio teaching or consistent and progressive class teaching e experience
* Available for substitution for other classes
* Available to work 2-3 times a week including Saturdays
* 2 + Years of Teaching dance to Children, Teens or Adults
* Professionalism and Pro-active mindset
* Punctuality and Respect for the Art of Dance
* Friendly, positive attitude
* Live in close proximity to Purdance Studio in San Jose.
* Present a dance resume upon applying.
* Have reliable transportation.
*Responsibilities*:
* Teach dance class(es) for either children, teens or adults.
* Create curriculum for all classes.
* Assist in creation of new classes.
* Work together as a team with other dance instructors.
* Preparing students for dance showcase, recitals and productions
* Additional duties as required for the dance program
