ECE: Pre-Primary Teacher

Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team.
As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum (High Scope, HWT) standards - Create and maintain nurturing and orderly classroom environment - Provide instruction in various subjects: math, language arts, and science, as developmentally appropriate for your classroom age-group - Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students - Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance - Collaborate with other teachers and administration to enhance the overall educational experience of parent, children and co-workers - Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior - Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote a positive learning environment - Provide classroom interaction with students to provide tutoring and to support students as needed Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and listening - Strong curriculum development abilities - Experience working with children of different age groups, from toddlers to preschoolers - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Some familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations - Ability to provide care for toddlers, including diaper changing and feeding - Proficiency in managing positive teaching concepts and planning ahead for a year of curriculum - Understanding of California State Licensing daycare regulations and safety protocols Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Education ECE (preferred) - Teaching certification or 12 units in ECE (minimum qualification) - Previous teaching experience (1-2 years) We offer competitive pay rates and support opportunities for professional development.
