Reading and Math Tutor

Thriving Minds Learning Center- Reading and Math Tutor- In person sessions Thriving Minds Learning Center is a tutoring center that offers individualized instruction in reading, writing and math to students in grades 1-8 with learning challenges including dyslexia, ADHD, mild autism, and other learning differences.
We are seeking part-time instructors to tutor in the subjects of reading, writing and math at our office in Campbell, California, in addition to offering online tutoring.
This is a part-time position with the potential to grow up to 15-20 hours per week.
Job benefits: -Training and ongoing support provided -A positive team and work environment -Rewarding teaching experiences with great students and families Job requirements: -Applicants must be available 20 hours a week total During the school year (from mid-August to June), availability is needed: Monday through Friday between 2:30-6:30pm (possibility of morning work) During the summer (June to mid-August), availability is needed: Monday through Friday between 9:00am to 6:30pm.
Also, there is the possibility of being able to work on Saturdays between 9am-1pm, though Saturdays are not required.
-Experience teaching the following subjects is preferred: -Reading -Elementary and Middle school level math Writing -Experience teaching reading with Orton-Gillingham programs is a plus -Must provide excellent references that demonstrate work with children and /or successful tutoring/ teaching of students -Must pass background check Thank you for your interest!
