*Academic Tutor - After School * Bay Area Tutoring Association is seeking a dedicated tutors to support students in an after-school program for grades 4-7.
*Description: *Embark on an enriching learning journey with Mt.
Pleasant Elementary School District's tutoring program tailored for students in grades 4-7! Our focus is on English Language Arts (ELA), utilizing dynamic resources such as I-READY, workbooks, and writing exercises to enhance literacy skills.
Tutoring sessions will be held at four convenient locations within Mt.
Pleasant Elementary School: Ida Jew Academy, Mount Pleasant Elementary, Valle Vista, and Robert Sanders.
Each site offers a nurturing environment conducive to academic growth and success.
*Schedule:* Monday-Friday *Time:* 2:45PM - 4:15 PM *Start Date*: April 29, 2024 - May 23, 2024 *Qualifications:* * Ability to develop rapport with students and create a supportive learning environment.
* Passion for helping students succeed academically.
* Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus.
* Enthusiastic about supporting student success through academic assistance.
*Requirements:* BATA onboarding requirements, background check, online training, TB Scan.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $17.
