Preschool Teacher

```Duties:``` - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities - Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment - Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones - Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns ```Skills:``` - Early childhood education: Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education - Physical education: Ability to incorporate physical activities into daily lesson plans to promote gross motor skills development - Experience working with students: Previous experience working with young children in a classroom setting - Special education: Familiarity with strategies for supporting children with special needs or learning differences - Classroom management: Ability to create a structured and organized classroom environment that promotes positive behavior - Math skills: Proficiency in teaching basic math concepts appropriate for preschool-aged children - Toddler care: Understanding of the unique needs and challenges of caring for toddlers in an educational setting - Lesson planning: Strong ability to plan engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons based on curriculum guidelines - Behavior management: Skill in implementing positive behavior management techniques to create a supportive learning environment - Childhood development: Understanding of the stages of childhood development and how to support growth in all areas Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
