Some of your *Resposibilities:*
• Participate in planning and implementation of classroom activities, indoor and outdoor play, snack provision (including allergy awareness and other dietary restrictions) including set up/clean-up, maintenance, and safety considerations • Model exemplary behavior with children, families, and colleagues • Change diapers and assist with self-help skills in the restroom • Provide documentation of activities and interventions for infant care as needed • Provide caregivers with written and oral information about developmentally appropriate activities and daily schedule • Assist staff with paperwork, materials development, and curriculum planning • Collect DRDP evidence with the support of lead classroom teacher • Support ECERs assessment with teachers of primary assigned classroom • Other duties as assigned DIVERSITY EQUITY AND INCLUSION RESPONSIBILITES: Advance AbilityPath’s mission through dedicated time to Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) efforts across the organization, including but not limited to the below responsibilities: • Participate/Actively engage in opportunities for self-education, learning and development and ongoing all-staff and department-specific DEI trainings and dialogues • Participate/Actively engage in reflective practice and feedback as part of onboarding, 30-60- 90, annual DEI goal setting, and performance reviews • Engage in feedback loops with managers, staff, teams, clients, and listen with the intention of understanding people's experiences • Collaborate with peers, community members and partners to incorporate DEI learnings about bias, microaggressions, discrimination, current social events and lived experiences (and any other DEI-related topics) to shape program services, self-care practices and organizational culture GENERAL PRESCHOOL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for following all Title 22 regulations in the classroom • Responsible for maintaining classroom attendance, and name to face counts throughout the day.
