Headsup! Montessori Preschool is seeking a Bilingual Head teacher for our Child Development Center.
Preschool teachers share responsibility for the curriculum, parent liaison, and staff development.
This is a year-round preschool which requires a 1 year commitment (12 months).
Candidates must have the *minimum required 12 ECE units and teaching experience.
A bachelors degree is required and the candidate must be AMS (American Montessori Society) certified.

immediately and vaccinations are required for all staff members.

The Headsup! Montessori Preschool is situated in the Central Park Plaza business park.
The preschool offers a five-day-per-week, full-time learning and care program for infants through preschoolers (ages 3-6 years).
It operates year-round, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, on a business calendar to accommodate working parents.
It is part of the Early Learning Institute (“ELI”), a Palo Alto-based educational organization with similar programs in Palo Alto.
[Teachers and caretakers without a bachelor’s degree are encouraged to apply for other openings in Palo Alto, Pleasanton, and San Jose.
ELI pays for Montessori training for qualified teachers.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Completion of 12 semester or 18 quarter units in Early Childhood Education in the specific areas of Child Development, Child, Family & Community, Curriculum and Infant Development.
* Bachelor degree is required
* AMS Montessori Certification In Early Childhood (0-6 Years)
* Must be able to speak, write, and read in both Mandarin and English
* At least 1 year of childcare experience in a licensed childcare facility is preferred
In addition to the minimum education qualifications, Headsup! is seeking a teacher who:
* Loves working with children 0-6 years old
* Able to work 8 hour shifts
* Dependable and reliable
* Able to stand or walk for at least 3+ hours
* Flexible and adaptable
