We are looking for a hard-working, kid-friendly, organized, self-motivated individual who likes to take responsibility for our San Jose location full time position.
However we would be open to place the right candidate in Sunnyvale location if needed.

The infant/toddler teacher is responsible for all aspects of the care & education for the children enrolled in their class and is accountable for knowing state licensing requirements.
the teacher should be fully qualified with atleast 12 ECE semester units or 18 quarter units.
*Responsibilities of this position will include but are not necessarily limited to the following:*
* Ensuring the health safety of each child enrolled in the class.
* Following an age-appropriate curriculum with class lesson plan submitted/followed on timely basis to reporting manager.
* Facilitation of supportive relationships with the remainder of the staff, parents, and students.
* Maintaining regular observation and evaluation of children's development and progress as directed by administration.
* Maintaining an internal portfolio for each student.
* Completing weekly lesson plans or goals.
* Accepting and maintaining responsibility daily for the ordered arrangement, appearance, decor, and classroom cleanliness.
* Planning and implementing age and developmentally appropriate classroom practices includes each child's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs.
* Serving as a role model for the children in attitude, speech, and actions.
* Diapering and potty training, if needed.
* Treating each child with dignity and respect for their cultural background.
* Encouraging each child's development in building self-confidence, problem-solving skills and teaching them the importance of taking responsibility for their actions.
* Interact with each child daily through circle time, centers, snacks, lunchtime, playground, free play, etc.
*Desired Qualifications:*
* 1+ to 2 years of experience
* Age Groups: Toddler- 18 months – 2 + years
* High school degree
* 12-18 ECE units, including three infant toddler units
*Desired Paperwork:*
* Background checked and fingerprinted with live scan for CDSS
* Immunization record- MMR, Dtap, Pertussis, TB tested and cleared
* Eligibility to work in USA, W4
* Transcripts and certificates of training and credentials
* Child abuse mandated reporter training certificate
