Ciocca Center Program Manager Position Title: Ciocca Center Program Manager Position Type: Fixed Term (Fixed Term) Hiring Range: $25.
24 - 29.
01 per hour; commensurate with experience Pay Frequency: Hourly Department Description: Ciocca Center's mission is to instill and expand the entrepreneurial mindset in SCU students, faculty, staff and alumni, throughout Silicon Valley and across the world.

Position Purpose: Under the supervision of the Executive Director of the Ciocca Center, this position supports the overall functions of the Ciocca Center.
The program manager will have the principal responsibility of working with the Executive Director to design, develop, and prototype an interdisciplinary Life Design Program that would be a core offering of Ciocca Center.
The program manager will assist with the management of Ciocca Center programs, industry research, building relationships with founders and business professionals, scheduling and facilitating program sessions, maintaining an updated database and documents of startups, marketing, and other administrative tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Meeting with stakeholders who have expertise in life design and career path design or have related programmatic offerings.
Understanding and analyzing campus-wide student and faculty needs related to designing life and career journeys for graduate and undergraduate students of all disciplines.
Assisting in the design of a revolving workshop series to deliver content that is curated to provide a bespoke experience for students.
Identify and and work with Ciocca Center staff to engage appropriate faculty to support the program.
Works closely with Program Directors and Executive director to develop a financial model for the program and receive budget approval.
Assist in the creation of a prototype program that can be deployed during the Fall 24 academic year.
Collect feedback and rollout a broader program based on the prototype workshops.
Assist in the management of other interdisciplinary programs within Ciocca Center.
Provides Work Direction Assists in management of the Ciocca Center student staff and interns.
Assists in coaching and evaluating student staff.
General Duties: Assist with general office clerical responsibilities.
Assist Center staff in various tasks and projects, as assigned.
Collaborate on the Center's website and social media content.
Attend all Center staff meetings.
Assist with events hosted and sponsored by the center.
Primarily an in-person role.
Some of the responsibilities require the employee to be available outside of normal business hours.
This includes occasional evening or weekend work to host marketing events, meet with students, or manage other programs.
Managing a field trip requires short-term travel (typically one to two days).

Strong organizational skills include time management, attention to detail, multitasking with accuracy and speed, and timely project completion.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build working relationships among a diverse workforce at all levels.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, Google Drive required.
Marketing, design, and/or and social media experience are preferred.
Commitment to superior customer service, both internal and external to the department, with demonstrated empathy and patience with families that are confronted with significant financial hardships and difficult life changes.
Self-motivated to perform tasks independently without supervision in a high volume dynamic environment.
Creative problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Sensitivity toward people of diverse social, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.

Understanding of the Jesuit, Catholic mission of Santa Clara University Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Years of Experience Zero to three years minimum of work experience developing and managing projects, and be comfortable with a high level of responsibility.
Relevant experience working with a diverse group of people in a dynamic work environment is preferred.
