Preschool Teacher (Full Time/ Part Time)

Building Kidz Preschool of South Palo Alto We are looking for a preschool teacher for our 2 year old class.

*Requirements:* * Teacher 12 - 24 units of child development including core ECE classes * 1 year experience preferred * 8 hours of Pediatric First Aid and Pediatric CPR/AED or willingness to obtain * Meets education and experience criteria required by the state *Additional requirements for all positions:* Able to lift and carry a 40-pound object *Responsibilities:* - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Ensure the well-being and safety of all children in the classroom.
*Skills:* - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Patience and understanding to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain discipline.
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education techniques.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
