Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to enhance children's learning and development.
- Create engaging lesson plans incorporating various teaching methods and activities.
- Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child based on their unique needs.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and discipline.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
- Patience with non-English speaking children and encouragement of communication.
- Bilingualism in Korean and English is advantageous but not mandatory.
