We are working with our client, luxury car brand, in locating a DEI Learning Consultant to develop and implement comprehensive DEI programs.
This role involves creating a hybrid introductory program, followed by a more in-depth program for further instruction and application, with follow-up content for managers to continue DEI efforts within their teams.
As part of the selection process, the consultant will be required to create a proposal with hours estimate for the project.
Job Responsibilities:
Introductory Program Development:
Design and develop a custom interactive eLearning module or a 2-hour ILT session tailored for all associates, including production associates, interns, assistants, and professionals.
Ensure content addresses key DEI principles, fosters awareness, and promotes inclusivity within the BMW culture.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align content with onboarding processes.
In-Depth Program Creation:
Develop a more comprehensive DEI program offering further instruction, knowledge, and application beyond the introductory level.
Design engaging content, activities, and resources to deepen understanding and encourage active participation.
Tailor content to address specific roles and levels within the organization.
Sustainability Follow-Up Content:
Create follow-up content specifically for managers to sustain DEI efforts within their teams.
Develop facilitated team workshops, on-the-job training (OJT) scenarios, or structured dialogue formats to facilitate ongoing DEI discussions and initiatives.
Provide guidance and resources to empower managers in fostering inclusive team environments.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in developing DEI learning programs, preferably within corporate settings.
Strong understanding of DEI principles, including cultural competence, unconscious bias, and inclusive leadership.
Expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
Experience in sustainability follow-up strategies and content development is a plus.

The pay range is $65 to $75 per hour.
Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
