We are looking for an experienced native iOS and/or macOS frameworks developer to collaboratively architect and engineer cutting edge solutions for delivering world class instructional products and contextual user assistance.
Join the enterprising team responsible for TipKit and the apps and interfaces that deliver help and dynamic user assistance on iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS .
Our team develops the content delivery software that enables Apple customers to learn about and make the most of the software and devices they own.
We work closely with system applications teams to improve the discoverability of the features they create.

Prior experience or eagerness to develop expertise in SwiftUI, SwiftSyntax, CoreData, SwiftData, Structured Concurrency, and Macros.
Prior experience building frameworks highly preferred, but not required.
Strong Swift, Objective-C, and/or C/C++ coding skills.
Experience with app UI and architeching quality UX.
Experience with multithreading and knowlege of, or desire to learn, daemons and IPC/XPC.
Performance analysis and tuning experience, including memory usage, CPU utilization, Power/Battery usage, leaks, and compiler optimization.

Description
As a framework developer on the Instructional Products Engineering team, you will be responsible for architecting the internal and developer-facing features and interfaces used to deliver contextual, instructional content to Apple's end users.
You will be working with our team on engineering new and innovative software that will improve the ability of the OS, system apps, and services to educate users about new features.
In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a variety of teams across a broad array of Apple's deliverables.
Additionally, you'll connect with Apple's world class human interface team, as well as regularly work with our instructional designers, graphic designers, and localizations teams.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
