The Apple Services Engineering team builds products and services for our customers, and helps the rest of Apple do that too! These are the people responsible for products such as Apple Music, Podcasts, TV+, tvOS, App Store, iCloud, Business & Education, as well as technologies like Commerce, Search & Recommendations, and many more.
This team also builds and manages cloud infrastructure, supporting teams and services across Apple.
And they do it on a massive scale, meeting Appleʼs high expectations with high performance to deliver global services! We are seeking an experienced, highly collaborative instructional designer to join the ASE University team.
This organization creates new e-learning courses for our growing team of engineers and program managers that will enable our global team to continue to grow and scale; and it will complement our existing suite of in person and live instructor led virtual training offerings.
Key Qualifications
Experience creating effective and engaging e-learning courses.
Experience working in software engineering teams preferred.
Expertise in adult learning methodologies and e-learning development processes (such as ADDIE).
Experience in Adobe Captivate and Adobe Creative Suite such as Illustrator and InDesign (or ability to quickly learn new tools and programs)
Experience using Learning Management Systems and Content Management Systems to develop and administer content.
Ability to facilitate content reviews with senior leaders and partners, and incorporate feedback accordingly.
Ability to accurately estimate level of effort for building new content and independently meeting deadlines and milestones.
Excellent writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Experience with Apple products and tools a plus (such as Keynote, Pages, Numbers).
Experience with video production and Final Cut Pro a plus.
Description
We are looking for an instructional designer with expertise in e-learning to join the ASE University team.
In this role, you will be responsible for working with subject matter experts and leaders to design and develop new e-learning modules to support Apple Cloud services and products, as well as other courses for the broader ASE organization.
You will use your instructional design expertise to develop approaches and timelines, and develop courses and content based on learning needs.
The courses you develop will help educate and inspire our growing global team of engineers and program managers in Apple Services Engineering.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
The base pay range for this role is between $134,000.
00 and $223,500.
00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
