The North America Services Business (NASB) Product team develops products and services across Samsung’s TV’s and Mobile Devices.
Our mission in North America Services Business is to inspire and engage users with interactive and imaginative experiences.
The team is seeking a talented individual with strong content operations skills to be part of our team.
This position requires the ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally to operate our content experiences on Samsung TV and Mobile devices.
You will drive the definition of what and how content appears when our users browse on their devices.
Responsibilities:
- Curate content rows in our TV and Mobile Screens for North America (US and Canada)
- Partner with business development and external partners to promote themed and new content at various times in the year
- Partner with marketing to drive awareness and optimize ad placements on the platform
- Partner with data team to understand how rows curated are performing
- Work with internal teams and engineering to troubleshoot error or user issues
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an operations role of curating content
- Be able to take the high strategic view as well as dive deep on issues
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Set standards to launch successfully and test before pushing to production
- Good collaboration, verbal and written communication (Project Manager to EVP levels)
- Experience working with Smart TV Platforms, Media Devices, or Media Services (Pref)
- Ability to Speak/Write French – to curate French content in specific Canadian regions (Pref)
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ Years of Experience
*Content is mainly focused on Media (Movies, TV Shows, Linear Channels, Music, and News) but, could include Gaming and Art Content.
