*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:*
* Coaching games and practices
* Organization and scheduling of practices
* Demonstrates successful ability to teach, enforce, advocate and model appropriate behavior, character traits, and educational values to student-athletes.
* Demonstrates successful ability to organize and supervise student-athletes.
* Help organize the transportation to and from games
* Attend Sports Banquet, Pre-season, and Postseason PSAL meetings
* Distribute, record and collect uniforms and gear
* Communicate with AD and parents in a timely manner via phone & email.
*QUALIFICATIONS:*
* Knowledge and experience in regard to coaching techniques and evidence of the ability to convey effectively them to young student-athletes
* Previous coaching experience, and/or participation, in the sport for which you are applying at the high school level or above, preferred
* Ability to successfully develop and manage the program within the established philosophy of the School and State
* Ability to demonstrate leadership and organization for a successful sports program
* Ability to work with people in a constructive manner under stressful circumstances
* Preferably be a teacher or Certified educator
* Possess a valid First Aid/CPR Certificate from the American Red Cross
* Complete NFHS and Safeschool online training
* Valid CA driver's license
