Think Academy is looking for a Part-Time REMOTE SAT English Teacher that can join us as soon as possible.
You will be responsible to teach SAT English lessons in 1-on-1 or group class format throughout the upcoming Summer Semester (May 2024 - August 2024).
You will also join our SAT curriculum development team to produce handouts, practice problems, and other resources for the digital SAT.
Your expertise in SAT Reading and Writing Section (EBRW), strong communication skills, and a strong passion for teaching will contribute to the great academic success of our students!
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the SAT topics and learning objectives.
Create engaging and interactive classroom activities, demonstrations, and experiments to enhance students' understanding of complex biological concepts.
Facilitate student learning through effective instructional strategies, including lectures, discussions, and multimedia presentations.
Provide clear explanations, guidance, and support to help students grasp challenging topics and prepare for the SAT exam.
Assess student progress through various formative and summative assessments, such as quizzes, tests, projects, and laboratory reports.
Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments and performances to promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Literature, Education, or a related field.
Master's degree is a plus.
Strong knowledge of the new digital SAT exam and exam requirements.
Previous teaching experience in SAT tutoring/teaching (Desired)
Able and willing to work during weekends (Required)
Availability to work during our Summer Semester: May 20th, 2024 - August 31st, 2024
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
