Pay rates for Union positions are set in the Collective Bargaining Agreement with SEIU Local 521.
Each position has a total of six steps, Step 1 (entry level) through Step 6 (15 years of employment with the organization).
Union staff are promoted from Step 1 to Step 2 upon their one-year anniversary.
The current Step 1 rate for this position is $33.
21/hr, and the current Step 6 rate for this position is $36.
67/hr.
SUMMARY:
Coordinate the network, outreach, recruitment, scheduling, implementation, and tracking of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training by maintaining networking relationships with community partners, fostering professional relationships with trainers to meet identified goals, developing and tracking ongoing referrals resulting from provided trainings, and supporting the MHFA Project Manager in all aspects of data gathering, tracking, referring, and analyzing data for reporting measures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support both the agency mission and the MHFA model by providing outreach and training for MHFA to youth and adults in the community, as applicable and based on target populations.
Promote Momentum by supporting educational outreaches and trainings for MHFA to various professionals and community members.

Under the direction of the Project Manager, coordinate and facilitate MHFA training, developing and improving knowledge and presentation skills.
Complete output, including curriculum, media, and other tasks as needed by the Project Manager.

Collect and track outreach data from each presentation provided by instructors and assist in developing, maintaining, and collecting referral data, surveys, and various forms post-presentation, to support reporting requirements.

Collaborate with the Project Manager, instructors, and agency's Training Department to complete and maintain certification and project requirements, and monitor and evaluate MHFA trainings, including collecting required data from each presentation.

Identify, develop, and maintain networking relationships with stakeholders and funding entities, community partners, supporting agencies, and potential trainees to ensure consistent scheduling of trainings.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend and participate in program, agency and community meetings/trainings, as required, requested or assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: (E = Essential; D = Desired)
At least two years of experience in working with behavioral health systems.

Experience in networking, developing and promoting outreach programming and training in the community with specialization in preventative mental health/ substance use community education.

Bilingual preference within county’s threshold languages.

Knowledge of middle and high school educational systems structuring and school system culture within the county.
