*Position:*
* We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic individual to become an instructor with Code For Fun to teach kids computer science summer camps.
* He/she shares our philosophy to expose students (K-12) to the necessary skill sets and knowledge to become well educated digital citizens.
* Code for fun is a non-profit focused on Computer Science education for K-12.
*Locations:*
* Onsite East Bay (Walnut Creek, Berkeley, San Ramon, Danville, Fremont, Milpitas, Hayward)
* Onsite Peninsula (San Carlos, Foster City, Redwood City, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Mountain View)
* Onsite South Bay (Sunnyvale, San Jose, Santa Clara)
*Position Details:*
* Prepare classes using Code For Fun Lesson plans
* Instruct students ranging from 5-15 years old
* Provide personable experiences between students, parents and supervisors
*Ideal Candidate:*
* Experienced teaching at the elementary and middle school levels
* Familiar with programming concepts, computer science or another technical field of expertise and excited to share this knowledge with students!
* Fluent in English and must display excellent interpersonal skills when interacting and communicating with students and parents
* Must have own transportation to the school site, car insurance, and a valid California state license
* Knows how to make a class fun!
* Must pass our background check and send a copy of a negative TB test

We are driven by a mission to educate people from all walks of life; whether they are teachers in need of professional development, or school districts looking to expand their computer science department.
For students, we offer online / in-person camps, classes and private tutoring.
