Special Needs Voice Instructor (All other Instruments Welcome) (Contract)

*Please note:* Arabesque Conservatory of Music invites applications for a contract private music instructor position.
Our school services the greater Santa Clara area and offers private in-home lessons.
The candidate must be a skilled and compassionate teacher, who is able to demonstrate a deep knowledge of their instrument, practice repertoire, and music theory.
*QUALIFICATIONS* * Ability to teach in student's homes in Santa Clara and surrounding areas * Experience with special needs highly preferred * Driver License and Reliable Transportation Required * A record of effective teaching experience in private instruction * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Strong command of technology to support teaching * Expertise in teaching technique * Bachelor of Music degree or equivalent *RESPONSIBILITIES* * Teaching private lessons to students in-home * Preparing lessons that are tailored to students' needs * Helping students to develop confidence in their performance skills and general musicianship * Documenting and reporting on students' progress *COMPENSATION* * Up to $70 / Hour * Referral Bonus *SUBMISSION PROCESS* Electronic applications only.
