*Role Title: Assistant Childcare Teacher*

*Project Overview:*

Our GCC group consists of 4 Children's Centers, appx.
150 educators, and 22 management staff.
Temp teachers help the GCC's to ensure adherence to legal ratios in line with California Licensing regulations, provide supervision, and support implementation of play based/emergent curriculum.
*Overall Responsibilities*
1) Constant supervision of young children in program
2) Demonstrate respectful relationships with children and colleagues
3) Ensure a safe environment at all times.
4) Support FTE team with curriculum implementation and reinforcement of established systems (tracking, documentation, charting, etc)
5) Willingness to learn about and understand how GCC’s anti racism commitments guide behaviors and interpersonal communication, as well as maintain awareness of Google’s diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility commitments

*Required-12 college course credit units in ECE, passed with a grade of C or better Able to lift 50 pounds Ability to travel between the 4 GCC centers (6 mile radius between 4 centers)*
_Desired_
Preferred/not required- an additional 3 Infant Toddler units
Preferred/not required- CPR and First Aid certifications
Preferred/not required- At least one year of experience in working in an early childhood education setting
