It covers all of the HF Ham Radio frequencies from 160 through 10-Meters (from 1.
8 to 30 MHz,) including the 30, 17 and 12-Meter "WARC" HF bands, CB, Shortwave, and the 60-Meter band.
A front-panel eight-position rotary switch allows the user to switch between one of two - coax-fed antennas, or a wire antenna (single/random-length or balanced line-fed) or an internal Dummy Load.
There is an internal 4:1 Balun which allows for balanced-line antenna use.
The coax-fed antenna(s) can be switched to be going through the tuner ("tuned") or bypassing the tuner ("direct".
) The front-panel meter in the VC300DLP tuner allows monitoring either Average or Peak transmit power levels.
The cross-needle meter measures the peak or average Forward or Reflected power levels, and SWR.
The meter can be illuminated by providing a +12V DC source (not included) to a jack on the rear panel.
