This plays both VHS tapes and DVD / CD disks.

Besides the player, you'll get one set of necessary AV cables (composite video, stereo audio, and coaxial).
The original remote control is missing and presumed lost forever.
Some of the main player functions can be accessed using buttons on the front panel.
