Job Title Compliance Director - Clover What does a Compliance Director, Clover do? The Clover Compliance Director will perform activities required to ensure that the Clover business is compliant with applicable federal, state and local regulations, as well as internal policies, standards, and guidelines.
The Compliance Director will lead efforts to evaluate regulations, perform compliance risk assessments, provide regulatory guidance on new product development, advise on platform development in response to changing regulations, identify and develop monitoring and testing routines and partner with business leadership to address client inquiries.
The Compliance Director will partner closely with the Clover product teams and the Fiserv legal team.
As a Director of Compliance, you will: Act as subject matter expert on compliance to regulations applicable to Clover’s products and services, ensuring strategy, platform workflow, functionality and associated documentation conforms to regulatory obligations Execute the compliance management framework for Clover by developing policies, procedures, training, and quality control processes Review and evaluate newly published regulatory compliance rules for applicability and compliance Work with the Clover leadership team help prioritize line of business and/or legal entity compliance efforts.
Provide regulatory guidance on new product development Review product marketing material from a regulatory compliance perspective Identify and develop regulatory compliance monitoring and testing activities to verify compliance with internal Fiserv controls, frameworks, and standards in collaboration with business stakeholders Track and report on applicable open regulatory audit or compliance issues, ensuring remediation is completed as scheduled (issue management) Engage with federal and state regulators during the course of examinations Develop and enhance risk metrics and executive reporting Work with the stakeholders to ensure compliance efforts are implemented, maintained, and governed effectively, building a more compliance-aware culture Oversee regulatory Compliance Risk Assessments (CRA) for line of business and/or legal entity products-including current products, new products, deal reviews, marketing, and contracts What we need for you to have: 10+ years of regulatory compliance or legal experience with financial services organizations Prior experience working in a fast paced and innovative product organization Extensive knowledge of the U.

laws, regulations, and subjects applicable to Fiserv products and services, to potentially include and not limited to: Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDPCA), Unfair, Deceptive, Abusive, Acts, Practices (UDAAP), E-Sign Act, Privacy, Complaints, Identity Theft, Marketing, FACT Act/ Red Flags Rules, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Integrity, ability to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills Demonstrated collaborative skills Bachelor's degree What we would like for you to have: Knowledge of merchant acquiring, payments flows and merchant cash advance and associated regulations Experience responding to internal and external audits Demonstrated experience with establishing and maintaining a strong monitoring and testing program to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable regulations Mature communication skills, both oral and written, to concisely communicate status, key issues and resolutions in manners appropriate to the audience Skilled negotiator with the ability to influence and build consensus across functional teams Ability to set strategy, but focus on tactical and detail for execution #LI - EH1 Salary Range $141,800.
