Compliance Engineering Manager

Position involves leading a team of EMC-Compliance and Safety Engineers responsible for test and Agency certification of Oracle Hardware products to worldwide Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Safety standards.
Responsibilities include: Setting yearly goals for each individual contributor, with periodic follow-up on progress.
Conducting regular 1:1s with all staff to get status on current activities and resolve issues.
Preparing yearly performance reviews for staff.
Providing technical guidance to Engineers on the team with an emphasis on optimizing hardware and human resources for each project.
Assigning projects to the staff to such that workloads are balanced.
Maintaining test schedules and tracking final report status.
Hosting regular staff meetings.
Acting as the content expert for the EMC and managing Safety Engineering functions in Oracle Hardware Development.
Reviewing EMC test plans and final reports for completion and correctness.
Handling customer issues and inquiries related to these functional areas.
Assist Director with budgeting.
Hiring activities as needed.
Work Related Experience: Must have knowledge of and experience working with Worldwide EMC test standards including: 47CFR15 Subpart B CISPR/EN 55032 & CISPR/EN55035 ICES-003 VCCI CNS13438 KS C 9832 & KS C 9835 EN61000-3-2/-12 and EN61000-3-3/-11 Must have knowledge of and experience obtaining country specific Agency certifications including: BSMI KCC CCC VCCI EAC ACMA TEC Experience with Product Safety Standards and certification processes with Nationally Recognized Testing Labs (NRTLs) preferred but not required.
Relevant Safety Standards Include UL/CSA/IEC/EN 62368-1 Series, 2 nd and 3 rd Editions Skills include: Demonstrated ability to work within a team of stakeholders representing a variety of functional areas.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Excellent organizational skills Ability to manage conflicting priorities to keep all staff duties on track.
Fluency with Microsoft Office applications Experience with Atlassian Confluence Education/Work Experience: BS, MS or relevant technical degree combined with additional work experience.
7 years related work experience with relevant technical degree other than BS or MS
