*Marketing Coordinator*
Sarahliz Lawson Design is looking for a social-media savvy storyteller with strong copywriting and design skills.
This is a creative role that involves sharing content featuring our design work across platforms to connect with existing and new audiences.
The Marketing Coordinator assists with managing all public-facing brand channels with a focus on social media, website content and public relations.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
Social Media
* Create interesting relevant, and on-brand content to be published on SLD’s website and social media
* Engage and respond to comments and messages across all platforms
* Think strategically and implement a plan on social media channels that will support brand awareness and marketing goals
Content Marketing
* Review and update website content, ensuring best practices are implemented
* Manage online brand, ensuring brand messaging
* Design and assemble e-newsletters in MailChimp
* Assist with content strategy development and campaign calendars to support marketing goals, and drive traffic to SLD’s website and social media
* Assist in developing and implementing new and exciting ways to grow SLD’s audience through web traffic, social followers, and email subscribers
* Track and evaluate SLD’s KPIs, web traffic, and social engagement, generating reports as needed
* Assist in maintaining Google Analytics account
Public Relations
* Assist with public relations efforts for SLD, including coordinating magazine publications, writing press releases, database list building, media outreach and follow up, and developing/implementing PR outreach plans
Branding
* Create and edit graphics for various channels (knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign is strongly preferred)
* Maintain and update brand profiles (Houzz, Google, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.
)
* Develop branding for corporate giveaways, client gifts, etc.
* Assist in updating Brand & Style Guide as needed
*Required Qualifications*
* Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least one year experience in marketing, public relations and/or communications or a related field; experience working in visual arts a plus
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite for graphic and visual design (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
* Ability and flexibility with working hours to attend photoshoots to edit and create video content for social media and web use
* Refined visual presentation skills
* Proven ability to learn new skills, technology, platforms, and programs
* Excellent creative writing, copywriting, and proofing skills
* Passionate user of social media and ability to recognize trends and engagement opportunities
* Knowledge of email marketing and website CMS software (MailChimp, Squarespace, HTML familiarity a plus)
* Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized and the ability to multi-task effectively while remaining accurate and consistent in all project and data management
* Demonstrated ability to determine relevance, prioritize tasks, juggle multiple projects and delegate when necessary
* A flexible, proactive, positive “can do” attitude and the ability to process change calmly and effectively
