With a focus on automotive and industrial LED lighting markets, we are driving innovations in vehicle lighting and extending the use of color lighting in gaming and home appliances.
Our marketing team is actively seeking a skilled graduate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering to join us as an Associate Analog Applications Engineer to complement our Milpitas team.
Our marketing team is heavily focused in ‘Technical Marketing’ to promote and market Lumissil’s analog IC solutions to a diverse customer base in the USA and Europe.
The successful candidate will work directly with Marketing, Engineering, and Sales, contributing optimal support to customers while identifying new markets and product solutions.
As a member of our marketing team, you can expect to learn about the automotive, industrial and consumer LED lighting markets that we serve.
In this role, you’ll gain expertise and responsibility for aligning our analog products with customer needs.
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with an EE or Electronics degree capable of identifying and articulating the technical merits of our LED drivers to customers.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, who can prioritize multiple tasks and possess strong interpersonal skills to become an outstanding teammate.
*Essential Functions:* _Duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:_ * Solid understanding of EE fundamentals and analog/digital electronics (hobbyist working knowledge is a plus).
* Prior experience with industry standard interfaces such as I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN, UART and serial-shift along with functional understanding of LED driver topologies such as switching buck/boost and linear.
* Work with the application team to review and edit datasheets, application notes and software code examples.
* Capable of reading and navigating through hardware design collateral such as schematics, PCB layout, competitive technical specifications, and customer requirements.
* Collaborate with the sales team and customers to provide them with power point presentations, newsletters, videos, and articles that promote LED drivers.
* Experience in conducting technical presentations, training, and product demonstrations.
* Sufficient technical knowledge to understand a customer’s LED lighting challenges and assist them in finding the suitable LED driver solution.
* Engage with customers to cultivate relationships, demonstrate technology, overcome challenges and position Lumissil products with the goal of obtaining design win opportunities.
* Ability to convey a customer’s technical requirements and feedback to both marketing and engineering teams, aiming to improve product features, quality and identify new product ideas.
* Highly motivated and results oriented, capable of working independently, seeking assistance when needed and willing to share knowledge.
* Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with enthusiasm to oversee collaborative customer problem resolution.

· 5 years of work experience in technical marketing or semiconductor industry experience.
· Role can include travel (up to 25%) to meet with customers in the Americas and Europe.
