*Role Description*
This is a full-time on-site role for a Banquet and Catering Manager located in San Jose, CA.
The Banquet and Catering Manager will be responsible for driving catering sales and planning events to meet and exceed customer expectations.
He/She will also collaborate closely with the food and beverage team to ensure all customer needs are met.
The Banquet and Catering Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Banquet Department with a focus on cost control and exceptional guest service.
The Banquet and Catering Manager oversees all aspects of a banquet.
Banquet & Catering Manager are in charge of hiring training coaching disciplining and reviewing banquet staff.
Exempt associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities.
The Banquet and Catering Manager will be reporting to Faz the CEO/President of the restaurant.
*Qualifications*
* Customer Satisfaction, Catering Sales, and Event Planning skills
* Experience in Customer Service and Food & Beverage
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
* Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Hospitality, Business Administration, or Marketing preferred.
*Additional Requirements*
* Experience with Caterease preferred.
* Knowledge of Ctuit is preferred.
* Excellent time management skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Strong customer service orientation and skills
* Must be self-motivated and results oriented.
* Creative problem-solving skills
Compensation and Benefits:
* Base Rate + Tips and Commission
