The Data Insights team within Advertising Platforms is building a Client Insights team for our App Store ads business which is responsible to identify, develop, and package unique insights for our advertisers and to co-deliver these insights direct to advertisers to inform, persuade, and ultimately change advertiser behavior.
This role will help build, grow, and lead this new team.
Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5 or more years of experience, ideally in the digital advertising industry, as a data scientist, consultant or business analytics professional Demonstrated experience managing a data science or consulting team.
Experience with in-person client interactions, specifically senior level executives and knowledge to also work with business intelligence and data science experts Strong communication skills and the ability to distill information from large data sets and results into simple concepts and actionable insights for a variety of audiences Deep knowledge of advanced analytical techniques and statistical methods World-class understanding of digital advertising landscape and KPIs for web / mobile / apps Search engine marketing expertise, app-install marketing, and channel partners (e.

, agencies, mobile measurement) preferred A strong passion for business intelligence and analytics with the ability to work closely with the business teams, understand business requirements, and manage complex projects related to data-driven initiatives Experience being part of a team with a revenue growth mandate Experience with media mix modeling a plus.
Description Description The Client Specialist Manager will lead a new team whose mandate is to evaluate, source, refine, and present unique insights to help our advertising customers get the most value out of their investment in Apple Ads.
This team will use data-driven and advanced analytical approaches and will leverage existing and new data sets, both Ad Platforms internal and external, to identify these opportunities (e.
g.
, improving advertiser understanding of marketplace dynamics; assisting in design and execution of advertiser-driven experimentation; conducting client pilots for new insights; analyzing unique, client-specific opportunities).
The Specialist Manager will determine goals and KPIs for the team and coach them both in their in-depth data science work to identify the right metrics and mentor them in utilizing exceptional communication skills and building the right partnerships and with our externally facing sales team to articulate these stories to our customers.
Just like all the members of this team, this individual has to have the right analytical acumen and storytelling prowess.
This individual will define the scope and vision of the team.
Coach and develop the team of Insights Specialists Work with senior leaders across the product, sales, and DI organization to identify areas where the team will be most effective and help drive the team’s vision and targets effectively.
Demonstrate proven accountability for revenue targets Identify the themes of insights which will have the most impact and pilot new ideas.
Use advanced data analytics techniques and statistical methodologies to extract these insights.
Develop the appropriate positioning and pitch framework to share key findings with various customer personas including senior marketing / user acquisition and data science leaders.
Act as the commercialization vehicle for key insights, unblocking clients and identifying which metrics would help the client further.
Measure and track the impact of client interactions and classes of insights on advertiser performance and spend.
Work with Privacy and legal teams to ensure that proposed data sets honor Apple Ads’ privacy principles.
Work with the product team to integrate successful pilots into customer facing reporting tools.
Expected to travel 20-50% of the time (varies by quarter).

Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
The base pay range for this role is between $166,400 and $289,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
