” Your Role: Treasure Data is seeking a Senior Product Manager with a strong background in Machine Learning in the Marketing domain to lead some of our key Machine Learning initiatives.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, “drive the bus” leader to take on this role and develop and deliver 0-1 products to market, leading to ROI for our company and customers.
Your experience focuses on how data can be utilized to empower humans to deliver better customer experiences.
This position will be located in Mountain View, CA.
You are highly technical and customer facing.
You interface well with engineers, designers, sales people, customers, and executives.
You have a strong technical background in Machine Learning and were born to lead and influence others.
You will drive product strategy and execution, overseeing ideation, planning, development, launch, and maintenance across the Machine Learning portfolio.
You will contribute to the overall platform strategy and roadmap development to ensure business objectives are met.
Responsibilities: Strategy and Vision: Define the long-term vision and strategy for the machine learning capabilities of the Treasure Data Customer Data Platform.
Collaborate with the Product Management executives to align the product strategy with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
Roadmap Planning: Develop a comprehensive and prioritized roadmap based on use cases from customer feedback, marketing research and data analysis for some of our machine learning products and features.
Work closely with a cross-functional team, including engineering, design, and marketing to ensure alignment and successful execution of the roadmap.
Feature Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for machine learning products and features, from ideation to launch.
Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to define technical requirements and design scalable and robust solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX/UI design, and marketing, to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Customer Insights and Feedback: Conduct customer interviews, gather feedback, and deeply understand customer pain points to inform feature development and improve user experience.
Advocate for customer needs throughout the product development process, ensuring that the solutions align with customer expectations.
Data Governance, Privacy, and Security: Collaborate with the data privacy and security teams to ensure that machine learning products and features adhere to data governance, privacy and compliance standards.
Go-to-Market Alignment: Collaborate with the product marketing and sales teams to develop compelling product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for machine learning products and features.
Support the sales team in customer engagements, providing technical expertise and product knowledge as needed.
Represent Treasure Data as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events, online in customer communities, GTM and partner trainings and enablements, and through social networking.
Product Performance and Success: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of machine learning products and features.
Regularly analyze and report on the performance of these products and features, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Requirements: Education - A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
An MBA and advanced degrees are a plus.
Experience - 5+ years of product management Machine Learning for Marketing - Strong understanding of how Data & Marketing Ops teams at Global 2000 companies deliver value and how Machine Learning technology supports that goal.
Experience with ML as it applies to marketing use cases including some of the following: Recommender Systems, Next Best Action, Multi-Touch Attribution, Customer Lifetime Value Calculation and Personalization.
Building ML Products - Proven experience with enterprise SaaS ML products including developing solutions from 0-1 and bringing new products to market.
Domain Knowledge - Organization & Communication - Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills in English, and ability to communicate with people with different points of view presenting to executive leadership and handling sensitive customer situations.
Leadership - Proven ability to set a vision, translate the vision into a roadmap, and excite/lead a cross-functional engineering, UX, Product Marketing, partner and sales team to bring the product to market.
Self-Driver - Proven ability to deliver on commitments and lead / work autonomously and globally.
Prioritization - Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and managing nuanced tradeoffs.
Creative & Analytical Problem Solving - Creative thinker who thrives on solving challenging problems with analytical thinking, and is focused on adding customer value and ROI.
Technical Fluency - Good understanding of technology with the ability to hold your own in debates with technical architects and engineers.
