This position is for a full-time Resident Manager III who with a 2-bedroom unit who will live onsite and manage Markham Plaza I & II, two affordable housing SRO buildings (305 units) in San Jose, CA.
Qualified candidates will have previous experience managing affordable housing programs such as Section 8 (tenant-based) as well as supervise a team of on-site employees.
Yardi Voyager experience a plus.
Salary range: $65,096 - $108,461 per year; hiring range for new employees is generally $65,096 - $86,779 per year, DOE.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Resident Manager III/General Manager is directly responsible for managing the site to ensure effective fiscal, physical and social soundness.
The Resident Manager oversees the day to day operations of the property including administrative, facilities and marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Complies with HUD, TCAC or other regulations
Oversees Compliance Department to ensure Leasing and Re-certification compliance
Supervises on-site Staff, all programs and departments of a 300+ unit property
Processes Evictions, Conducts Annual Inspections and Oversee all Repairs
For HUD Properties, submits Vouchers
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ Years of Affordable Housing Property Management Experience at a 300+ unit property
Strong Supervisory Experience
Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH and ADA Guidelines
Ability to Develop and Implement Budgets and Variance Reports
Skills in Resident Problem Solving and Staff Management
Must have a current Real Estate License or be able to obtain within 9 months of hire
