Pay Range: $24- $30 an Hour
OVERVIEW: The Coordinator works with various individuals and organizations to secure funding and sponsorships.
This position assists in developing fundraising plans, maintaining donor relationships, and securing new ones, and advancing Unity Care's initiatives through actively seeking partners.
This position will assist in planning and producing events, developing marketing collateral, and recruiting volunteers to help facilitate the plan to promote the growth of UCG programs.
As with all UC staff, this position is responsible for adhering to the performance standards set forth in the UC Staff Employee and UC policies and procedures.
DIRECT REPORTS: None RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to): 1.
Organization Duties: a.
Timely and accurate submission of timecards to supervisor b.
Time away from the Office, Program and/or Home (i.
e.
, vacations, personal time off, leaves of absence) must be pre-approved by supervisor and requested based on process outlined in the UC Employee Handbook.
c.
Maintain knowledge of staff handbook, policies, procedures, manuals, and pertinent documentation.
2.
Strategic Planning: Work with the Director to establish a diversified development program to maximize support to meet the needs of the operating budget, endowment, and capital needs.
Manage project workflow and oversee day to day milestones for fundraising projects.
3.
Fundraising: Research and identify prospective new donors and proactively initiate sponsorship and funding.
Oversee all solicitation appeals and development collateral.
4.
Marketing: work with the marketing committee to promote all development and fundraising events using collateral, advertisements, and digital marketing outreach.
5.
Event Planning: Develop and coordinate events that enhance opportunities for prospect cultivation and stewardship for major donors; Work with event committees to develop and execute highly visible fundraising events each year that include our signature fundraising event.
Coordinate all aspects of fundraising events and activities planning to execution including the obtaining items for sale in auctions and acquiring donations.

Donor relations: Assist with the development and implementation of a donor cultivation strategy - communications and recognition of donors and prospects to maintain and build the image of Unity Care Group.
Foster a high-quality customer relations experience among contributors and prospects.

Records and Reporting: Provide quarterly reports of fundraising progress to ELT and Board; Ensure that appropriate donor records and communication systems are in place utilizing Salesforce applications.
Oversee gift and pledge processing.
Reconcile gifts/pledges with the Finance Department.

Volunteers: Recruit diverse groups of volunteers to help implement development strategy, projects & targeted events.
9.
Other duties as assigned.

Work closely with social media staff to establish plans for marketing events and programs.

Ability to work well with a team to promote company initiatives.
4.
1-3 years' experience working in fundraising or project organization.
5.
Experience using and managing the salesforce platform.
6.
Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.
7.
Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and sponsors.
8.
Experience planning large-scale events and fundraisers.
9.
Ability to generate interest in the company or program and reach out to appropriate business partners.
10.
Experience working with a diverse team and promoting a positive brand image.
11.
Advanced computer skills (MSWord, Excel, spreadsheets, graphics, PowerPoint).
Preferred 1.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration & Management, Public Relations or Sales related field.

Must be at least 21 years of age and able to work in a Community Care Licensed Facility 13.
Must be able to drive, have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and maintain a clean driving record.
