POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Sales develops and implements strategic plans to increase volume and share of Tampico brands across all channels of distribution in the assigned region.
This position develops and executes comprehensive programs with each Tampico’s licensees’ partner, key customers and directly with major retailers.
This role will work with national Accounts Managers in the implementation of national account programs.
The Director of Sales trains and develops all sales members assigned to the region sales team.
In addition, this individual will be responsible for growing our alternative packages within our dairy, distributor, and wholesale network.
This individual will develop and execute programs with our Tampico partners and assigned retailers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES – Other Duties May Be Assigned
Grow Tampico Volume and Market share with assigned dairies, retailers and distributors.
Develop and maintain relationships with dairy and retailers personnel to execute national, regional and local programs.
Design programs to enhance sales with each licensee.
Drive sales with assigned retailers & wholesalers.
Develop relationships with key account field merchandisers to execute both headquarter and in-store display programs.
Responsible for the direction, training and development of all Sales Team members in assigned region.
Approve all Licensee plans and modify them to enhance market potential of all assigned products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
7+ yrs.
Experience in working with a major consumer product, preferably dairy/beverage industries
Bachelor’s degree required
Intermediate Microsoft office experience
Must possess excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Ideal candidates must possess demonstrated leadership capability
Must be able to interact at all levels within the organization
Ability to travel 40%
Must be able to work remotely and on the field
Able to lift 50lbs.
Must reside in the Fresno, Sacramento, or San Jose, California area.
