The Role:
As a member of Ampere’s Communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media platform strategy for Ampere and play a critical role enhancing our brand awareness while working with multiple internal stakeholders to develop content, analyze results, and drive traffic on our social media platforms.
This person may also flex into adjacent communications activities as needed.
In this role you will plan, schedule and execute social content strategies, manage an editorial calendar, produce organic social content, assist with influencer programs, and track and test various strategies on our social platforms.
You will also work with internal and external content management and analytics tools to develop and analyze content to fine tune and optimize the strategy on an ongoing basis.
You will be part of a small but dynamic Corporate Communications team for a company that is on the cutting edge of today’s technology landscape, architecting a new future of computing with an innovative approach to CPU design focused on high-performance, energy efficient, sustainable cloud computing.
What you’ll do: Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that aligns with Ampere’s overall business objectives and brand.
Content creation: Create, curate and manage a steady flow of high-quality content (including text, images, videos, and infographics) that informs and elevates the Ampere brand with a special emphasis on storytelling.
Community Engagement: Foster and grow our online community with tactics and strategies targeted at key audiences.
Audience development and analysis: Monitor social media trends and use data to gain insight into our audiences and their preferences for content and engagement.
Analytics: Monitor results, trends and conversations to enable insights and key audience learnings.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure social media initiatives align with strategic direction and business goals.
Stay Updated: Be aware and stay ahead of trends and best practices in the industry.
What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field (and/or equivalent experience) 8+ years and a proven track record as a social media manager, journalist, newsroom editor, or similar role.
Experience writing and developing digital content or building content strategies for a brand preferred.
Strong understanding of social media platforms with an emphasis on LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Facebook.
Solid understanding of the influencer landscape.
Engagement and management of news and news media a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Experience writing copy for social, email, blogs.
Experience working with or managing agency resources a plus.
Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Technical experience and/or work in a related technology industry environment is a plus.
Comfortable operating on a small team and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
You are scrappy and no job is too small.

The full base pay range for this role is between $110,000 and $184,000, except in the San Francisco Bay Area where the range is between $125,000 and $209,000.
