Roles and responsibilities
Test Litmus Edge device drivers for functionality and performance
Test gateway hardware devices for compatibility with Litmus Edge
Configure and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other industrial hardware
Write, comment, and test PLC programs using company standard methods and tools
Investigate customer and internal requests related to industrial communication protocols including OPC UA and Modbus
Prepare technical documentation and reports on Litmus Edge functionality and performance
Qualifications
Recent graduate or candidate for Bachelor or Master of Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or other engineering
Internship is in-office 5 days a week at Litmus's Santa Clara office
PLC configuration, connection (Ethernet, serial), troubleshooting, and programming knowledge
Basic networking and communication protocol knowledge
Knowledge of SCADA/HMI systems a plus
Knowledge of Linux and command-line tools a plus
Knowledge of virtualization/docker a plus
