Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our team.
As a Lead HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of HVAC systems in residential buildings.
You will be working on-site and will be provided with all necessary tools and equipment.
We also offer in-house training to help advance your career as an Lead HVAC Installer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes, but not limited to the following:
Install, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in accordance with local codes and safety guidelines.
Supervise and direct the work of other HVAC installers on-site.
Ensure that all work is completed within the given timeline and budget.
Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Install/Replace HVAC equipment including, but not limited to: ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits (gas or heat pump), rooftop package units (gas or heat pump)
Responsible for installing and directing the installation of mechanical equipment and ductwork
Digs holes in the floors and walls to form air duct outlets and returns.
Drills holes and installs mounting brackets and hangers into floor and walls of building.
Constructs foundation of noncombustible materials as needed
Operate a variety of hand and power tools to remove and install heating & air conditioning equipment
Balances refrigerant in system.
Inspect work to ensure conformity to specifications and work schedules
Ensure that safety and cleanliness is paramount on all job sites
Coordinate wiring to connect components to electrical power source.
Connects & adjusts timers and thermostat.
Maintain good working order of company vehicle
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and/or Experience
One to two year certificate from college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Qualified candidates will be EPA certified.
All Installers must hold a current driver's license.
Experience in leading a team of HVAC installers.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-100 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, crouch or crawl
Occasionally required to sit or balance
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
Moderate exposure to physical risk
Work is performed in residential properties which may include attics, garages, crawl spaces and roof tops
