CMM Programmer/Operator

```Duties:``` - Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform dimensional inspections on machined parts \*\*PC-DMIS\*\* - Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine inspection requirements - Use GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure parts meet required tolerances - Perform inspections using various measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges - Conduct first article inspections and in-process inspections to verify part conformance - Collaborate with production team to identify and address quality issues - Document inspection results and maintain accurate records - Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures ```Skills:``` - Proficient in operating CMM equipment and software (PC-DMIS) - Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in dimensional inspection - Ability to fabricate and interpret complex engineering drawings - Knowledge of mechanical principles and machining processes - Experience with dimensional inspection techniques and equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges - Familiarity with tooling used in machining operations - Solid math skills for performing calculations related to dimensional inspection - Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software is a plus This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
