This is a chance to join Empower’s Global Operations team which has the ability to substantially influence the technical direction of the product, building cutting-edge IVR technology.
Responsibilities include:
Perform prototype silicon qualification in the area of test list definition, reliability, correlation, PVT characterization, datasheet consistency, and production release.
Perform silicon and package reliability qualification: stress planning, board design, vector creation, stress execution, data analysis, and presentation.
Be familiar with the requirements of JESD47.
Perform PVT characterization and perform data analysis to define process, spec window, publish and effectively communicate the findings to the Quality, Design, Test, and Systems team.
Perform failure analysis to help debug and isolate faults on customer (RMA) returns, qualification failures and for yield improvement.
Perform yield analysis, foundry process parameter (PCM) correlation, regression testing, fault isolation, and test coverage improvement to improve yields and reduce DPPM.
Perform correlation activities and validate ATE test correlation to the bench setups and to validate test setup correlation across test hardware and across tester locations.
Create and maintain controlled documents that captures test and assembly specifications and the qualification results, and release to the Quality Department and Contract Manufacturers.
Job Requirements:
BS or higher in Electrical Engineering, and Physics preferred.
10-15+ years of experience as a Product engineer in the semiconductor IC industry.
Proficient with JMP and Excel.
Experience and familiarity in the characterization and reliability qualification of semiconductor devices.
Experience and familiarity in yield improvement and DPPM reduction.
Familiarity with Statistics and Probability and JEDEC reliability standards
Experience working with contract Test and Assembly facilities.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Basic wafer and package manufacturing and semiconductor physics is plus.
Familiar with OSAT and foundry online website, PDF Solutions Exensio platform is a plus
Familiar with SiCap and IVR product/process is a plus
