We are looking for a CNC Machinist that would like to join our team!
CNC MACHINIST
Machinist is responsible for supporting machine setup, production, and troubleshooting of new product.
These components use a variety of materials and have tightly controlled dimensional and surface finish requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· operate CNC machines: live tool lathes and Swiss Screw Machines.
· Complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions.
· Maintain specifications by working with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials
· Provide feedback and support to Production Engineers to optimize machining sequences and process
· Optimize machining sequences and maintain comprehensive documentation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
· Entry Level Position (experience on Lathe or Swiss Screw Machine a bonus.
)
· Experience with machining different materials (e.
g.
aluminum, stainless, titanium, plastics etc)
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Low Volume/High Mix, and High Volume/Low Mix
· Eagerness to learn GD&T and ability to interpret blueprints.
· Eagerness to learn machining properties of materials such as stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and various plastics.
· Ability to deal with frequent changes or delays with fast-paced production
· Experience with manual lathes, knee mills, and various other manual equipment a plus
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to lift 25 lbs.
