Position Details:
Journeyman Carpenter will work with bags on while serving as lead on the project.
Serve as project point of contact for client(s), apprentice(s), and sub-contractor(s)
Interpret plans/prints/construction documents.
Track crew time sheets daily
Ensure proper and safe use of all vehicles and assigned equipment
Must have 4-5 years of experience in carpentry.
Must possess tools, transportation and a valid CA driver's license
Knowledge and understanding of California building codes and building inspection requirements
Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements, on-site safety and cleanliness
Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and carry up to 60 lbs.
Have great attention to detail, be well organized, show initiative, visualize concepts effectively, and work well on a team
