High volume manufacturing experience which includes the ability to solder tuning wires and surface mount components.
Entry level position will have on the job training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Troubleshooting down to the component level and repair accordingly.
Perform tests using digital multi meter, scalar analyzers, sweep generators, spectrum analyzers, test procedures, and rework documents.
Work within established safety, ESD and quality standards.
Work with minimum supervision.
Must be able to read and comprehend schematic drawings, Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Test Procedures, and rework documents.
Demonstrate computer skills to include MSWord and Excel
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience as an electronic/test technician is a bonus, this is an entry level position and on the job training will be provided.
Basic electronic knowledge is required.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common factors, and decimals.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Good teamwork and basic decision making.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in electronic technology or the military equivalent.
5 years of experience as an electronic test technician
Previous experience in precision soldering and wiring
COMPENSATION: $24-28/hr, depending on experience
SCHEDULE: Preferred starting time 6:00-7:00am
